Our public scheduled classroom training courses allow you to learn and interact face-to-face with our expert instructors in a comfortable and modern training environment. All of our public classroom based courses are delivered from our Cardiff training venues and take place in our Cathedral Road office or at The Angel Hotel – Cardiff. All classroom based courses come with refreshments and include all the IT and physical equipment you need to attend the course.

Access live instructor-led sessions from your home or office

Our virtual courses allow you to access live training from the same expert instructors that deliver our face-to-face courses, without leaving the comfort of your home or office. All virtual-live courses follow the exact same format as our classroom courses and learners will be able to interact in real-time with our trainers and other course delegates.

All you will need to be able to attend is a computer or laptop with a web cam, microphone and internet access. We will take care of everything else for you, and will post out the official AgilePM course manual to your preferred delivery address prior to the course start date.

When Will I Receive My AgilePM Exam Results?


Foundation Exam Results

If you have taken AgilePM® Foundation, your exam will be marked by the trainer immediately following the exam and the provisional results are available within an hour.

Practitioner Exam Results

If you have taken AgilePM® Practitioner, your exam will be sent to the examination board (APMG) for marking and your results will be available in 7-10 working days.

Are there any sample exam papers?


Yes. As part of your Agile training you will be given access to a full sample exam paper.

Will I receive any pre-course reading?


Yes. Approximately 3 weeks prior to the course start date you will receive an electronic copy of your pre-course reading material (which is taken from the Agile Project Management Handbook version 2.0). On the first day of the course you will receive a hard copy of the official Agile Project Management Handbook which is yours to keep. 

Are there any additional costs to the course price?


No. Everything is included in the course price. This includes your tuition, course materials, official AgilePM manual, sample exam paper, pre-course study, exam fees and certification. If you’re doing a classroom-based training course at one of NILC’s venues, you’ll also receive unlimited tea, coffee, water and free Wi-Fi.

Where do I sit the AgilePM exams?


You take your paper-based AgilePM Foundation and/or Practitioner exams in the class during the course. Please note some providers send you home to sit the exam on a computer as they say it provides you with more flexibility however it is just to save the provider money. 

Are there any prerequisites for AgilePM?


What version are your AgilePM courses?


All of NILC’s AgilePM courses follow the AgilePM v2.0 syllabus and Agile Project Management Handbook. These are based upon the Agile Project Framework – the latest version of DSDM.

What happens if I fail an AgilePM exam?


If you fail to pass either of the AgilePM examinations, we will offer you support to give you the best opportunity to pass at the next attempt. Both Foundation and Practitioner exams can be sat on their own without having to retake the whole course (as long as you originally took the course with us). Don’t worry if you do fail one of the exams, they are designed to be a challenge - if everyone passed first time, then it wouldn’t signify a good exam.

Our high pass rates for both Foundation and Practitioner exams allows us to be confident that you will pass at the first attempt providing you complete the pre-course reading, attend the course every day, undertake the trial questions, and conduct the 1-2 hour daily homework during the course.

Do the AgilePM qualifications expire?


Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner qualifications never expire.

You get AgilePM Registered Practitioner Status after successfully passing the Practitioner exam. This status expires after five years. To renew you must pass a Re-registration exam 3-5 years after passing your initial Practitioner exam.
