Course Overview
This accredited course is designed for Project Managers, who require an understanding of the agile approach and/or who are intending to run projects using the DSDM® framework. The course will also benefit agile team members and Senior Managers who may be investigating the implications of adopting Agile Project Management within their organisation. It is also designed to equip practicing Project Managers with the confidence to sit the AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner qualifications.

Assessment
AgilePM Foundation
The AgilePM® Foundation Exam is of 40 minutes duration and consists of 50 multiple choice questions. A Pass is 25 correct answers. The exams are marked by the trainer immediately following the exam and the results are available within an hour.
AgilePM Practitioner
The AgilePM® Practitioner Exam is a paper of 2.5 hours duration. There are 4 Objective Test style questions to be answered in the 2.5 hours and the candidate may use an annotated manual. Each question is worth 20 marks and the candidate must score 40/80 to be successful. Results for this exam will be received within 7 – 10 working days.

Are your Agile Project Management course accredited?
Yes, all of our Agile training courses are accredited by APMG International (the only exam board for AgilePM qualifications). We are an APMG ATO (Accredited Training Organisation).
How does the Exam Pass Guarantee work?
With our Exam Pass Guarantee, if you do not pass the exam after attending this training course with us, you will be eligible to attend the same training again for free. Please note learners will have to pay for the examination fee which is set by the examination board. Students retaking the course are required to use any materials or books distributed to them in their original course session. Failure to provide these materials will result in the student being charged for replacement materials.
Is the Agile Project Management course suitable for me?
AgilePM® training will enable you to make your projects more productive through an “agile” approach, making it easier to change the scope as the project lifecycle continues. This Agile Project Management course is ideal for both experienced Project Managers who want to train in Agile disciplines, as well as for new Project Managers, who wish to gain a globally recognised qualification.
Are there any prerequisites for Agile Project Management?
AgilePM® Foundation has no prerequisites. However, to take the AgilePM® Practitioner exam, you must have passed Agile Foundation. The DSDM Altern Foundation or Advanced Practitioner certificates are also an acceptable substitute.
What is the pre-course reading?
The pre-course reading is a 39 page document which is taken directly from the official Agile course manual. This document includes key pages and topics we would recommend learners become familiar with prior to starting the course.
How do I take the exams?
For virtual or online courses, the AgilePM exams are taken online and invigilated by one of NILC's approved proctors. For classroom based courses the exam is paper-based.
What is the structure of the exams?
The Foundation exam is multiple choice (e.g. pick one answer from four) and the Practitioner exam is in the "objective-testing" format, a style of complex multiple-choice examination.
