Course Overview
PRINCE2 Agile is the world’s most complete agile project management solution, combining the flexibility and responsiveness of agile with the clearly defined framework of PRINCE2.
This accredited 2-Day course leads to the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificate, designed to help professionals deliver agile projects by tailoring PRINCE2 management controls with a broad toolset of agile delivery techniques and frameworks. The course will enable delegates to:
- Understand PRINCE2 governance requirements clearly and comprehensively
- Gain a broad range of knowledge of agile concepts and techniques
- Explore the interface between PRINCE2 and agile ways of working.
- Sit the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Certificate
Delegates are required to undertake preliminary study using pre-course learning resources which will be provided to them. Further self-study is also expected during the evenings of each course day.
PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner can be taken if you hold any of the following certifications:
- PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- A current Project Management Professional® (PMP)
- Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM)
- IPMA Levels A,B,C and D® (Certified Projects Director)
Please note: the following PRINCE2 examination process will apply to every course:
- All PRINCE2 examinations are arranged and administered online direct by Peoplecert.
- Delegates will be provided with a Peoplecert examination voucher for each examination. The voucher for the Foundation examination includes access to the official PRINCE2 Agile Manual e-book.
- On receipt of the voucher code the delegate should create or login to their candidate profile on the Peoplecert website to “redeem” the voucher and get access to the PRINCE2 Agile Manual e-book.

- Common agile ways of working
- The purpose and context for blending PRINCE2 and the agile ways of working
- The tailoring of PRINCE2 for a project in an agile context
- General guidance (Incl. Health Check, Transitioning, PM tips)
- Practitioner Examination Workshops
Day 2
- Practitioner Examination preparation
- Online Practitioner Examination – arranged through PeopleCert suggested timeslot 12pm onwards
Please note if you are attending a classroom based PRINCE2 course, due to the exam process now being held online, delegates are NOT expected to travel to the venue on Day 2 in order to minimise travel times. Instead your course trainer will organise a virtual session to run in the morning of Day 5 for any delegates which require any pre-examination support.

Assessment
PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
- Exam time: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Multiple-choice style: 50 questions
- Pass mark: 60% or more
- Open-book exam (i.e. you are allowed to have your own annotated copy of the PRINCE2 manual during the exam)
- Peoplecert emails your official results and e-certificate approximately 2 business days after completing the exam

PRINCE2 Agile FAQ's
Should I attend PRINCE2 before PRINCE2 Agile?
We would strongly recommend all delegates to have completed PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner before attending PRINCE2 Agile. The PRINCE2 Agile course will assume you have prior knowledge of the PRINCE2 methodology, and will not recap over the methodology during the course. It will instead teach you how to 'tailor' the PRINCE2 methodology towards an Agile environment.
Are your PRINCE2 course accredited?
Yes, all of our PRINCE2 Agile training courses are accredited by Peoplcert (the only exam board for PRINCE2 qualifications).
How does the Exam Pass Guarantee work?
With our Exam Pass Guarantee, if you do not pass the exam after attending this training course with us, you will be eligible to attend the same training again for free. Please note learners will have to pay for the examination fee which is set by the examination board. Students retaking the course are required to use any materials or books distributed to them in their original course session. Failure to provide these materials will result in the student being charged for replacement materials.

How do I take the exams?
All PRINCE2 exams are taken online with Peoplcert (the PRINCE2 awarding body). Learners will be provided with exam vouchers to book their exams on a date/time they choose. Peoplecert run exams 24 hours a day, 7 day a week.
What is the structure of the exams?
The Foundation exam is multiple choice (e.g. pick one answer from four, missing word or list style questions) and the Practitioner exam is a multiple choice scenario format, a style of complex multiple-choice examination (e.g. classic multiple choice and matching style questions).
Can I use any materials during the exams?
The Foundation exam is closed book - no materials are allowed. The Practitioner exam is open book and the official PRINCE2 course manual can be used. Learners can make notes inside the book but no other material is allowed.
