The course is suitable for aspiring and existing Scrum Masters, managers, Scrum team members and anyone involved in using or managing teams that work with the Scrum framework. It is particularly useful for those preparing to become a Scrum Master or existing Scrum Masters who want to develop and validate their knowledge.

There are no formal prerequisites. However, it is recommended that learners have some experience of working on Agile projects or have previously attended Agile Project Management Foundation or Practitioner training.

Yes. You will explore the different Scrum events and learn about Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. You will also develop an understanding of estimation, tracking Sprint progress and how Scrum teams continually inspect and improve the way they work.

The ABC Scrum Master examination takes place on the afternoon of Day 2. It is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination consisting of 50 questions, with 40 minutes available to complete it. You need to achieve at least 30 out of 50 marks (60%) to pass.

Yes. The course is fully accredited by APMG International, and NILC is an APMG Accredited Training Organisation (ATO). The Scrum Master examination is included as part of the course.

Yes. Pre-course reading is taken from the Scrum Guide and includes key sections that learners are recommended to familiarise themselves with before starting the course. This provides a useful introduction to the Scrum concepts that will be developed further during the training.
