    Microsoft Technical FAQ's

How do I take my Microsoft exam?

You can take a Microsoft certification exam either online or in-person at a Person VUE test center.

What is the difference between MD-100 and MD-101?

MD100 and MD101 are two of the three exams that make up the Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA) certification. MD100 focuses on the installation and configuration of Windows 10, while MD101 focuses on managing and maintaining Windows 10 devices in an enterprise environment.

Which course should I start with?

If you are new to Windows 10 administration, we recommend that you start with MD-100. This exam will give you a solid foundation in the installation and configuration of Windows 10 devices. Once you have passed MD-100, you can then take MD-101 to learn more about the management and maintenance of Windows 10 devices. If you already have experience with Windows 10 administration, you may be able to skip MD-100 and take MD-101 directly. However, we recommend that you review the exam objectives for MD-100 to make sure that you are familiar with the topics that are covered on the exam.
