How To Record and Send A Voice Message On LinkedIn

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to record and send voice notes on LinkedIn, providing you with a unique and personal touch in your business interactions.

Step 1: Accessing the Voice Message Feature

  1. Open your LinkedIn mobile app and navigate to the messaging area.
  2. Click or tap the icon at the top right of the screen to initiate a new message.

 

Step 2: Recording Your Voice Message

  1. Select the recipient for your message
  2. Look for the microphone symbol at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap the microphone symbol once to activate it.
  4. Hold down the button with your finger to start recording your voice message. A timer will indicate the duration (up to 30 seconds).
  5. Release your finger to stop recording. You’ll then have the option to confirm or cancel the message.

 

Step 3: Sending Your Voice Message

  1. If satisfied, tap “Send” to dispatch your voice message.
  2. Your message will appear in the recipient’s inbox with a confirmation tick.
